Save Devonshire Street Fundraiser @ The Harley

Liquid Steel Sound is proud to be a part of a special fundraiser to help local businesses mount a legal challenge against Sheffield City Council’s decision to demolish the city’s oldest shop buildings including the Natural Bed Company, the iconic record shop Rare and Racy and the boutique vintage clothing store Syd & Mallory’s.

The council’s decision is a serious threat to Sheffield’s identity and cultural vibrancy and comes despite over 700 objections and 21,000 signatures to the petition opposing the demolition. To find out more about the campaign and to donate to the crowdfunder page, head to http://savedevstreet.org.uk

So on Thursday 25th June we join forces with some of Sheffield’s finest DJ crews Dubcafe and Off Me Nut Records to help raise as much of the £15,000 required to mount a challenge to overturn the decision by judicial review in the High Court.
