LSS meets MADD AGAIN
This October, Liquid Steel Sound brings you the liveliest line-up in our entire 8 year history.
Presenting not just one but two huge Bass music collectives with a strong Caribbbean influence, this is going to be the rowdiest LSS to date. After smashing our sixth birthday party, we have UK Garage legend ZED BIAS returning to Liquid Steel, this time reincarnated as the notorious MADD AGAIN SOUNDSYSTEM collective featuring vocalists TRIGGA, SPECIALIST MOSS & KILLA BENZ. Madd Again Sound is one of the most exciting collaboration projects to emerge this year with the instantly infectious ‘Duggu’ set to become a UK dance anthem. Check the tune here
If that wasn’t hype enough we have the UK and Caribbean collaboration JUS NOW featuring long-time Toddla T Sound MC SEROCEE. With Bristol Drum & Bass DJ Interface teaming up with Trinidad’s LAZAbeam, Jus Now is unique sound blending carnival music with modern electronic dance styles to create something truly unique and absolutely wicked on the dancefloor.
We are seriously excited to bring these two incredible acts to Sheffield. Expect an exploration in the UK underground scene from its foundations to the present day.
Rm2: Concrete Jungle x Greenbay Wax
Heading up room two, we have the steel city’s very own Junglist soldiers Concrete Jungle and the much lauded Greenbay Wax Records. Keeping things rolling all the way through, join KIDLIB, PERCUSSIVE P, SMILEY MAXX and R8 Records boss and Sheffield scene originator ALEX DEADMAN for unadulterated rinseout.
For this night, there’s no warm up. It’s going off from the get-go.
