Sticky

We are delighted to welcome back one of UK Garage’s originators: Sticky. The man behind anthems such as Boo!, Triplets (Things we Do for Love) and Dollar $ign, Sticky’s productions defined a genre that has been enjoying something of a renaissance with the likes of Disclosure topping the charts.

An animal in the studio with a knack for spotting and developing vocal talent, this man produced Ms. Dynamite’s first foray into the UK scene whilst also producing hits for the likes of Heartless Crew, Kele Le Roc, Maxwell D, Lady Stush, Tubby T, General Levy and many more.

To celebrate 15 years since these Garage bangers first hit UK dance floors, Sticky will be playing a very special history set taking us on a journey from the beginnings of the scene to its latest incarnations featuring his own brand new productions.

Kele le Roc

We’ve had many talented vocalists and MCs over the years, but when it comes to creds, Kele Le Roc tops them all. A two-time MOBO award winner and UK Top Ten artist that collaborated with Sticky and a whole host of underground producers throughout the early naughties.

You may also recognise her vocals from Basement Jaxx’s ‘Romeo’ along with her own hits ‘My Love’ and the Sticky produced ‘Things We Do’ (Triplets riddim). The undisputed queen of UK Garage, don’t miss this rare opportunity to see her live and direct performing all the anthems from back in the day

STUSH

Another UK Garage vocalist responsible for voicing the unforgettable “Dollar Sign” – another huge Sticky production. Stush’s unique style typified the ragga-dancehall crossover style that dominated the UKG scene in the early 2000s. Another female pioneer of the scene, we can’t wait to see what promises to be a high-octane performance guaranteed to go off.

Deadbeat UK

The man. The legend. When he’s not dropping wisdom on social media or crafting hugely popular sample packs, our former resident is putting out banger after banger on Project All Out Records, Tumble Audio and various other Bass driven imprints. A hugely talented producer, his beats have received massive support from Flava D, My Nu Leng and Marcus Nasty himself. Having appeared on Rinse FM and DJd across the UK and Europe, Deadbeat is a veteran that played at some of the earliest LSS parties back in the day and we’re delighted that he’s able to complete a lineup that chronicles the past, present and future of our sound.

Room 2: Clarks

As is now becoming a bit of a birthday tradition, our very good friends Clarks hold it down in room two with DJs Sacha Kella and Tom White. With a now legendary monthly residency at Leeds’ Hifi club entering its fifth year with regular events in London, Clarks is one of the best parties in the UK for those that like to get down. Expect things to get hot and heavy with the wickedest Bashment, Dancehall and Soca.
